How to play Rarity Rush

Seven questions. One island. Your answers decide how much you own.

Choose your angle

Rare rewards the answers that are less obvious. Crowd flips the scoring: the familiar answer wins. Each prompt accepts many valid answers from our original curated bank.

Make seven moves

Type an answer, then lock it in. With the timer enabled you have 25 seconds per question. An answer not in the bank lets you try again while time remains. Capitalization, accents and punctuation are ignored. An unambiguous one-character typo is allowed for answers of at least five characters.

The timer keeps running when you switch tabs or return to the lobby. Pass, or let time expire, to score zero. Turn the timer off before a run for relaxed play. Timed and relaxed runs are labeled separately in results.

Points become territory

Five editorial bands determine the score. They are estimates of how obvious an answer is, not measured percentages of players.

Your seven scores total at most 700 points. Divide the total by seven and round to get your island territory out of 100. Territory shown after a round uses the cumulative total, so the change can differ by one from the rounded per-round equivalent.

Daily, Unlimited and Clash

The daily run changes at 00:00 UTC. Everyone gets the same questions; Rare and Crowd save separate progress in your browser. Complete either daily mode to keep your streak. Unlimited gives you a new random set whenever you want.

Clash is a two-player pass-and-play duel on one device. Both players answer the same questions. At the end, territory is divided in proportion to their points. If both score zero, the island stays unclaimed. Pass-and-play uses the honor system: the second player should avoid seeing the first player's answers.

Send a challenge

Share a completed run to send the same seven questions to a friend. Their result compares points against your run. The link contains the seed and your scores, not your answers. These are casual, self-reported comparisons, without a shared online leaderboard or account.
